POSITIVE EFFECTS OF GLOBALIZATION

Collect all direct and indirect effects of globalization that you would regard as positive. Be specific about the positive impact by giving examples and referring to sources and evidence.

  1. Positive effects are:
    Goods which can't be produced in the own country can be bought. An example are fruits and vegetables. You can buy each sort of fruits all over the air as they are importet from countries like New Zealand.
    Furthermore, the customer can benefit from Globalization as there exists a global competition, that means each company tries to sell their products as cheap as possible and in a good quality.
    In general, Globalization has a great influence on industrial countries. Nowadays, everywhere you can eat Chinese or Italien food, for example

  2. - a lot of countries wouldn't survive without import an export such as Germany
    - costumers can get things which don't exist in their own countries such as tropical fruits, vegetables or oil
    - globalization also means that cultures get mixed up and we get to know them in terms of food, clothes, behavior and so on
    - customers can get products in a better qualitiy and for a lower price because of the competition of the worldwide market
    - globalization creates new jobs because countries produce more than they need for themselves

    -> Companies could spread all over the world (e.g. McDonald, Burger King, Starbucks)
    -> New Preparations can be invented by multinatinonal sientists an can be faster send to all countries!
    -> Products can be bought cheaper because of lower taxes and easier transports
    -> Better quality and more variety of everything
